1. Log into your online account using the same email address the license is attached to.
2. From the top left dropdown select “My Students”
3. In the desired course section select “Open Student Dashboard”
4. Set your current semester start and end dates
- Students will automatically be removed at the end date
- You can manually remove students anytime
- You can change these dates any time
5. Add Students
- You can add students one at a time here in the dashboard
- Or, if you have a large list you can contact us at the top of this page, and attach a csv list of students with columns Email, First, Last
6. View their Progress
Once added, they'll show up in the table and you can view their progress anytime.
7. Student Onboarding
After you add a student our system will automatically:
- Create their account (if they don't already have one)
- If the school paid for the license
- Add course access to their account
- Email the student with instructions
If your school blocks emails from outside your organization:
If your students normally use Google SSO, tell them to login via google at https://learn.audiblegenius.com/signInNew/normal and the website will take it from there
If you need email+password access, contact us at the top of this page.
- If the student will be paying for the course themselves, direct them to your course checkout with the coupon code we've provided for you:
- Syntorial Checkout
- Building Blocks Checkout
- Once they purchased they'll receive an email with instructions, and they'll show up as “purchased” in your teacher portal
8. Syntorial and School Computers
If you plan to install Syntorial on the school's computers for multiple students to share we recommend disabling auto-login on startup so that students don't accidentally log into other students' accounts:
- On each computer open Syntorial and log into any account.
- Open Preferences:
- Mac: “Syntorial” menu at the top of your screen → Settings
- Windows: “Help” menu at the top → Preferences
- Disable “Auto-Login on Startup”
- If you plan to allow students to try Syntorial in free mode without an account, also disable “Automatically load the last user on startup”
- Logout
